MEMENTOS BY ITC HOTELS EKAAYA, UDAIPUR: A PRIVATE HILL RESORT FOR THE WHOLE WEDDING

ITC Mementos Udaipur, officially Mementos by ITC Hotels Ekaaya, Udaipur, is the first hotel of Mementos by ITC Hotels, ITC’s luxury lifestyle brand, and opened on 24 March 2023. It sits on about 50 acres in the Aravali hills at Raya, near the Eklingji Temple, with 117 suites and villas climbing the hillside, frangipani lawns and a private lake inside the resort. Its seven event spaces add up to about 1 lakh sq ft, so every function of a wedding can stay on one private estate.

It is IWP’s top pick in Udaipur for couples who want the whole wedding in one place. • Rooms: 117 suites and villas in seven categories, from 45 sq m villas to the 514 sq m Presidential Suite; about 234 staying guests at two per room (the villas take up to three).
• Event spaces: seven, about 1 lakh sq ft in all: four outdoor (Frangipani Lawn, Magical Forest, Magical Garden and Pool Side Lawn) and three indoor (the pillarless Udaipur Stateroom, Reya and a Board Room).
• Largest venue: the Frangipani Lawn, 5,660 sq m: 1,000 theatre-style, 750 at a reception and 450 at a banquet (ITC’s web FAQ says up to 1,200 floating).
• Dining: five outlets: Udai Pavilion (all-day), Kebabs & Kurries (Indian heritage cuisine), Royal Vega (luxury vegetarian cuisine of India), The Rock Bar and the Aravali Lounge.
• Spa and leisure: Kaya Kalp – The Royal Spa, a main pool and kids’ pool, an adults-only infinity pool at The Rock Bar, private pools in the larger suites, Ollie’s Club for children, tennis, pickleball, archery, cycling and bird-watching.
• Location: Raya, near the Eklingji Temple, Udaipur 313324: about 20–25 km from Udaipur city and about an hour’s drive from the City Palace and Lake Pichola.
• Airport: Maharana Pratap Airport (UDR), Dabok, about 41.5 km.
• Check-in / check-out: 15:00 / 11:00.

How the celebrations fit ITC Mementos

• Mehendi and haldi: by day in the Magical Forest, which ITC suggests for these functions, or the Magical Garden.
• Sangeet: the Udaipur Stateroom (240 at a banquet, 648 theatre-style) or the Frangipani Lawn with a built stage.
• Pheras: the Frangipani Lawn, or the Magical Garden at sunset for a smaller guest list.
• Reception: the Frangipani Lawn, 750 at a reception.
• Rain plan: the Udaipur Stateroom or Reya; IWP asks the hotel to hold a covered back-up for every outdoor function.

Mandap placement, the baraat route, fireworks and music hours are not in ITC’s published material, so IWP agrees each one with the hotel in writing before you sign.

What a wedding at ITC Mementos Udaipur costs

ITC does not publish wedding packages. These are IWP’s indicative, all-inclusive bands (venue and rooms, food and beverage, décor and production, entertainment, guest logistics and planning), which we price exactly for your dates:

• Intimate, 50–100 guests, 2 days: from about ₹1 crore (US$105,000).
• Premium, 150–250 guests, 3 days: ₹3–5 crore (US$315,000–525,000).
• Royal, 300–500 guests, 4 days: ₹7–10 crore (US$725,000–1.05 million), with a second Udaipur hotel for part of the guest list.

Best dates

October to March, when days are pleasant and evenings cool enough for the lawns; November, December and February are the busiest months in Udaipur. April to June is hot, so plan evening functions and keep the Stateroom as a back-up; July to September is monsoon. Getting there

Maharana Pratap Airport (UDR) at Dabok is about 41.5 km away, around 40 minutes to an hour by road, with direct flights from Delhi and Mumbai. Udaipur city is about 20–25 km away, and the City Palace and Lake Pichola about an hour’s drive. The resort is at Raya, near the Eklingji Temple; Nathdwara is also close.
