Best time for a wedding in Egypt

October to April. Cairo and Sharm El Sheikh are pleasant through the winter, while June to August is very hot for outdoor events.

Visas and travel for your guests

  • Guests on Indian passports usually apply for an Egypt e-Visa before travel. Those holding a valid US, UK, Schengen or GCC visa that they have used at least once can get a visa on arrival.
  • Guests on US, UK and Canadian passports can usually get an Egypt e-Visa online or a visa on arrival.
  • Flights: Cairo connects to Delhi, Mumbai, London and North America, and Sharm El Sheikh is a short domestic flight from Cairo.
