  3. Venue walk-throughs. We walk the shortlisted venues with you on video, and you can also visit in person with your planner before you book.

When to marry: seasons and UK school holidays

  • October to March is peak season in Rajasthan. December and January book out 12+ months ahead.

Travel and visas for guests from the UK

  • Flights: non-stop from London to Delhi or Mumbai, then a short domestic flight to Udaipur, Jaipur or Jodhpur.
  • British citizens apply online for an Indian e-Tourist Visa before travel. OCI cardholders don't need a visa.
  • Every foreign national, including OCI cardholders, must fill in India's free e-Arrival Card online within 72 hours before landing. It has been mandatory since 1 April 2026, and one form can cover a family or group of up to five.

Making the marriage legal in the UK

Many UK couples hold a short legal ceremony at a UK register office, and the religious wedding in India. If you want the marriage registered in India instead, we connect you with a local lawyer.
