These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of this website and the wedding and event planning services provided by IWP – Indian Wedding Planners (“IWP”, “we”, “us”, “our”), GSTIN 08ADRPK7228E1ZA, with offices at 34, Sangram Colony, C-Scheme, Jaipur-302001, Rajasthan, India, and WeWork Oberoi Commerz II, 1st Floor, Oberoi Garden City, Off Western Express Highway, Goregaon East, Mumbai-400063, Maharashtra, India. By using this website, submitting an enquiry or engaging our services, you (“client”, “you”) agree to these Terms. If these Terms conflict with your signed service agreement, the service agreement prevails.

1. Our Services

IWP provides destination wedding and event planning services, including venue sourcing and contracting, budget planning, décor and design direction, vendor management, guest logistics and hospitality, and on-ground event execution, as described on our website and in your individual proposal.

2. Engagement and Proposals

Any venue shortlist, indicative budget or proposal shared with you is for discussion and is not a binding offer. Our engagement begins only when a service agreement is signed by you and IWP and the first payment set out in it is received. The scope, deliverables, fees and timelines for your wedding are set out in that agreement.

3. Fees, Taxes and Payment

Our planning fee is either a percentage of the total wedding budget or a flat management fee, as agreed in your service agreement. Fees and amounts quoted are exclusive of GST and other applicable taxes, which are charged additionally at the prevailing rate. Payments are made in stages across the planning timeline, with milestones, amounts and due dates confirmed in writing when you contract with us.
Clients paying from outside India may pay by international wire transfer (inward remittance) to our designated Indian bank account, or from an NRE, NRO or other Indian bank account where held. We will provide our banking details and the documents needed for the transfer. All bank, intermediary and remittance charges, and any exchange-rate difference between contracting and payment, are borne by the client, so that the full invoiced amount is received.
If a payment is not received by its due date, IWP may pause work and hold bookings until it is received, and is not responsible for any rates, dates or inventory lost as a result. Hotels and vendors apply their own payment deadlines, which may be stricter than ours.

4. Vendor and Hotel Contracts

Where IWP negotiates and manages contracts with hotels and third-party vendors on your behalf, those contracts are between you (or your appointed representative) and the relevant hotel or vendor. IWP is not a party to them unless expressly stated. Their terms, cancellation policies and liabilities are governed by their own contracts and policies, which will be shared with you before you commit.

5. Cancellation and Postponement

Cancellation or postponement of your event may be subject to charges by IWP, hotels and vendors, as set out in your service agreement and the individual hotel and vendor contracts. Cancellation terms, notice periods and any refunds are specific to each booking and are confirmed in writing when you contract with us; they are not uniform across all bookings. Any request to cancel or postpone must be made in writing.

6. Force Majeure

Neither IWP nor you will be liable for delay or failure to perform obligations under these Terms where it results from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, extreme weather, epidemics or pandemic-related restrictions, government action, civil unrest, or failure of public utilities or transport. The force majeure provisions applicable to your event are set out in your service agreement and the relevant hotel and vendor contracts. We strongly recommend that you consider event cancellation insurance.

7. Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate and timely information needed to plan your event, including guest numbers, guest details, dietary and accessibility requirements, and approvals, and to make payments on time. Delays or inaccuracies in information you provide may affect our ability to deliver services as planned, and changes you request after confirmation may carry additional charges.

8. Guest Conduct and Damage

You are responsible for the conduct of your guests and for any loss of or damage to hotel, venue or vendor property caused by you or your guests, including charges levied by a hotel or venue for such damage, excess consumption or breach of house rules. You agree to indemnify IWP against claims, costs and penalties arising from such conduct or damage, or from elements you arrange independently of IWP.

9. Limitation of Liability

IWP will exercise reasonable skill and care in planning and coordinating your event. IWP is not liable for the acts, omissions, service quality or performance of independent hotels, vendors and suppliers, beyond the reasonable diligence exercised in selecting and managing them on your behalf. IWP is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of enjoyment or opportunity. To the extent permitted by law, IWP’s total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees paid to IWP for the relevant engagement.

10. Permissions and Local Regulations

Certain elements of Indian weddings, including alcohol service, amplified sound and music timings, drone photography, fireworks and the use of certain animals, are subject to state and local regulations that vary by location and can change. IWP will assist with confirming and obtaining the necessary permissions as part of full-service planning. The client remains responsible for compliance for any element arranged independently of IWP, and IWP may decline to facilitate any element it reasonably believes to be unlawful or unsafe.

11. Intellectual Property and Publicity

All content on this website, including text, design, logos and photographs, belongs to IWP or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without our written permission. Photographs, videos and content from your wedding will be used by IWP for portfolio, marketing or social media purposes only with your explicit permission, confirmed separately at the appropriate stage of planning.

12. Use of This Website

You agree not to misuse this website, including by submitting false enquiries or another person’s details without their permission, attempting unauthorised access, or interfering with its operation. Your use of the website is also subject to our Disclaimer and Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Both parties will first try to resolve any dispute through good-faith discussion within 30 days of written notice. Any dispute not resolved in that time shall be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with the seat and venue of arbitration at Jaipur, Rajasthan, conducted in English. Subject to this, the courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan shall have exclusive jurisdiction, unless otherwise agreed in writing in your service agreement.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect when you sign a service agreement with IWP governs that engagement, regardless of later changes to this page.
