Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus occupies the Atik Pasha, a 19th-century Ottoman palace on the European shore in Beşiktaş, which became a Four Seasons in 2008. It has 170 rooms and suites, two pools and a 2,100 m² spa. For an Indian wedding, the draw is the 1,000 m² Atik Pasha Grand Ballroom, which seats 700, alongside the 1,000 m² Atik Pasha Terrace at the water’s edge.

An Indian wedding at Four Seasons Bosphorus

With 170 rooms, the hotel sleeps about 340, which suits a wedding of 150 to 250 guests with family and friends in-house. For a larger list we add rooms at Çırağan Palace Kempinski, on the same avenue, or at other hotels nearby, and keep the functions here. A full buyout gives you the terrace and ballrooms to yourselves and is priced in the Royal band.

How the celebrations fit Four Seasons Bosphorus

• Mehendi as a daytime party on the Atik Pasha Terrace, or in Yasemin (120 m²) for a smaller group.
• Sangeet in the Bosphorus Ballroom (550 m², 300 seated).
• Pheras on the Atik Pasha Terrace in the late afternoon, with the Grand Ballroom as the wet-weather plan.
• Reception in the Atik Pasha Grand Ballroom, which seats 700 and takes 1,000 standing.

Best dates

Istanbul is most comfortable from April to June and in September and October; winter is the wettest season and moves events into the ballrooms.
