Calista Luxury Resort is a five-star, ultra all-inclusive resort at Kadriye in Belek, opened in 2007 on a 120,000 m² site in a stone pine forest that runs down to a 250 m private beach on the Mediterranean. For an Indian wedding, two facts matter most: 521 rooms and suites plus 14 villas, and Candor Hall, a 1,070 m² ballroom that seats 800 for a gala dinner.

An Indian wedding at Calista Luxury Resort

Calista suits weddings of 150 to 800 guests. Up to about 500 guests can usually stay in-house if rooms are blocked early; beyond that, or for privacy, a buyout is agreed with the hotel. Candor Hall keeps even an 800-guest reception indoors, and nearby Belek resorts take any overflow.

How the celebrations fit Calista Luxury Resort

• Mehendi by day in the tropical garden or beside the lagoon pool, with a Candor section as a shaded back-up.
• Sangeet in Candor Hall, with drinks in the 408 m² foyer.
• Pheras at a mandap on the pier, which the hotel suggests for ceremonies, or in the tropical garden.
• Reception as a gala dinner for up to 800 in Candor Hall, or in the tropical garden, then on to the beach bar.

Best dates

The Antalya coast is best from April to June and from September to November; July and August average highs of about 34°C. Calista is open all year. In 2027 there are no Hindu muhurat dates from August to October, so families who follow the muhurat usually choose late April to June (44 dates) or November (11 dates from 10 November).
